Abstract: The present investication was carried out in two áreas, the Pomasara community (Huancayno and Taruta), in the Ayo Ayo municipality of the La Paz departament. Forthe research, twuelve producer families were taken; sixfrom huancayno and six from taruta according to the family cycle and the área. The characterization of local knowledge and its relationship with precipitation and temperature on climate indicators is one of the most important objectives of this research, As the time goes by this knowledge is being lost or it is being replaced by other knowledge or tecnology, which it is a problem in the áreas under study; since these knowledge are transmitted from generation to generation orally and in daily practice by parents or grandparents; where the objectives to be folowed are: to study, identify and systematize the local knowledge practiced by producer families who are facing the changing climate. To meet these objectives we used; the research methodology descriptive, revalorizing, participatory with interviews, surveys, workshops and accompaniment in their daily activities; the resultr were studied by reports from the producer families, seven climatic indicators were identified between biotics and abiotic that are related to temperatura and precipitation and four indicators for potato production and eleven indicators were systemetized in Huancayno and nine indicators in Taruta.
