CALLISAYA QUISPE, Yoselin e FERNANDEZ CHAVEZ, Celia María. Evaluation of the effect of efficient microorganisms (EM), on cucumber (Cucumis sativus L.), in the municipality of Achocalla. Apthapi [online]. 2017, vol.3, n.3, pp. 652-666. ISSN 0102-0304.
This article describes the results of the investigation of the effect of Efficient Microorganisms (EM), used in agriculture as a foliar fertilizer, which generates benefits and are classified as organic producís. Applying in gherkin cultivation (Cucumis sativus L), in two varieties SMR-58 and Eureka under controlled conditions. Evaluating the agronomic behavior of the gherkin and its yield. It was started by picking up and collecting soil microorganisms in the community of Suiqui -Chulumani, multiplied and from that it was subsequently applied the MS in the gherkin crop, in the community of Marquirivi Municipality of Achocalla. The design used was random blocks; With 3 replicates and 6 treatments, 12 samples were evaluated in each treatment. The concentrations of MS used were: C1 = 10%, C2 = 50% and C3 = 80%. Data on the agronomic variables and yield variables were recorded from the beginning to the culmination of the research. Statistically, differences were observed regarding the effect of the application of MS in terms of plant height, number of fruits per plant, and yield with a higher T5 yield of 14.57 kg / 4.2 m2, resulting from the variety SMR-58 With concentration 2(50% DM diluted in5 liters of water), compared to T1, the Eureka variety with concentration 1 (10% DM diluted in 5 liters of water) were not favorable data recorded. In the economic analysis by treatments, the benefit / cost ratio B / C was determined, where treatments 2, 4, 5 and 6 obtained acceptable valúes (B / C => 1). On the contrary treatments 1 and 3 did not record gains from the inverted.
