Abstract Scientific publications describe the results of research; the valué of publication is highly reliant on how it is written and if it follows the scientific publication standards. Disseminating research results that allow proposing solutions to the problems studied, constitutes the main contribution of scientific publications. Therefore a scientific article must be very clear and simple in its structure, so that it communicates the author's ideas and research results in a precise and understandable way. Thisthematic revisión document about scientific writing standards for technical documents, aims to reflect the author - reviewer 's relationship, so that scientific publications become contributions to the several áreas of science, and may be guided by objectivity, precisión and the relevance that a scientific publication needs to have, instead of by personal interests or prejudices from both authors or reviewers. The prompt acceptance for publication in a prestigious Journal must also be considered.
