POLO ANDRADE, Sonia. Evaluation of indicators of the applicability of the intercultural community family health model in two hospitals Third level of the municipality of La Paz. Arch.Boliv.Med. [online]. 2018, vol.29, n.97, pp. 26-38. ISSN 0004-0525.

SUMMARY The present research work is aimed at identifying the degree of applicability of the Intercultural Community Family Health Model in two pilot hospitals in the city of La Paz. The objective of the National Health Plan is focused on the elimination of social exclusion in health, through the implementation of the Single Intercultural Community Health System, which assumes the principles of integrality, intersectoriality, interculturality and social participation in decision-making in all levels of management and health care of Bolivians as a fundamental right guaranteed by the State. The Intercultural Community Family Health Model is the new way of doing health in the National Health System, it involves the person, family and community in the provision of health services in an integral and intercultural way through networks, articulating with traditional medicine -ancestral, both in the health establishment and in the community. Two health services participated in the present study: the Institute of Japanese Bolivian Gastroenterology and the Clinics Hospital of the city of La Paz, hospitals of the third level of care, randomly selected for the application of instruments to evaluate indicators of the applicability of the Health Model. The tabulation and analysis of data showed significant differences in terms of the identification of socioeconomic factors, both institutional and of the same population, as determining factors on the applicability of the Health Model, finding insufficiency in process indicators. Allowing the need to establish health policies aimed at strengthening health processes in health services of the third level of care.
