SUMMARY Cervical cancer is the second most frequent neoplasm in developing countries that is the motive why it gives the implementation of a new prevention method a vaccine called Gardasil for protection against the human papilloma virus (HPV) specifically the 16 and 18 genotypes that cause this neoplastic this vaccine it is ai-med at 10,11 and 12 years old girls. Being a new topic around the world has been a lot of controversy for different reasons so that's why we focus on investigating the acceptance or rejection that may have on the parents of the girls in Santa Ana school of Sucre through a quanti-tative approach through surveys and qualitative through interviews so it's a research at a precise moment of the present. The result showed that 97 of the 134 people surveyed authorized it and 37 rejected it, mostly due to the lack of informa-tion which led us to the conclusion that there is a very good response towards the vaccine at least in school what indicates to us that in its majority there is a good level of knowledge.
