SUMMARY Introduction: This research will determine the knowledge about warning signs of pregnancy, childbirth and puerperium in pregnant women and postpartum women who come to the Center of health integrated Leo Schwarz, Villa Vaca Guzman municipality management 2016. Material and methods: this study is quantitative, observational, cross-sectional and descriptive. We used a known population and data were obtained in the management 2016, the field of study or work nucleus corresponds to pregnant women and postpartum women who attended the Center's health Integral Leo Schwarz of the municipality of Villa Vaca Guzmán (Muyupampa), and is He used tools such as surveys and interviews which allow us to collect data and information on the level of their knowledge obtained so far. These data will be used as indicators that collaborate in the detection of the level of knowledge of pregnant women and postpartum women about the danger signs during pregnancy and puerperium. Results and conclusions: in terms of the degree of knowledge about the signs of danger during pregnancy, by 49.52% have a bad knowledge, in relation to 12.38% that has a very good knowledge. It should be noted that 38% of the women have a good knowledge, reason why they come to the hospital at the right time.
