SUMMARY Introduction: the nutrition of children is one of the most important aspects of development, especially the micronutrients that should be received as a complementary element and strengthen their growth and especially development for their future life. Material and Methods: The research approach is quantitative, observational, descriptive, cross-sectional. The universe of study is conformed by the seas that have Boys and girls whose ages are between 6 months and under 2 years of the municipality of Icla. Results: The most relevant ones show us that although the mother has a good education, the information they receive about the use of the nutritional chips is adequately understood and so the administration towards their small children is not adequate and so Cause and rejection Conclusions: It is necessary to reinforce the information of the administration of the nutritional chips and to find an improvement strategy in which the children accept to consume the micronutrient.
