The Cutting Syndrome is the action of self-harm with the purpose of mood change, having a confuse emotional feeling or relieving the stress situation hurting themselves with physical damages. The suicide, feeling pleasure or a ritual thing is not the last objective. This cutting syndrome is frequently in teenagers and the body location it is often in wrists and the object for the event it is any cutting edge. From neurochemistry and biologic science related this syndrome with the serotonin system (low levels). As underlying psychological factors; we have the existence of physical and sexual abuse, emotional and physical negligence and dysfunctional domestic conditions during childhood and adolescence. The syndrome develop cycle point a patient will need cutting his/her self every time more and deeper to get the same feeling results. On these patients there is a physiological and psychiatric approach with psychotherapy an medicine therapy.
