We studied 46 strains of Klebsiella pneumoniae isolated in the bacteriology laboratory of the Hospital "Jaime Mendoza" by the National Sucre, of different samples and inpatients and outpatients. These strains are identified by API20 system E, which is a standardized and allows identification of genus and species members of the Enterobacteriaceae and other Gram-negative non-demanding, which includes 20 miniature biochemical tests and base data, after identification studied the sensitivity and resistance to antibiotics, by disk diffusion Kirby Bauer, following the rules of CLSI
