    Resumen

    The present research was conducted at the Center Township Village Serrano Chuquisaca Oepartment. This paper analyzes the level of knowledge and source of information held by public management students the UMRSPSFXCH ofthe town ofhiv-made mountain on the third quarter of 2012 management. Its production cross-descriptive study with a quantitative approach. The study sample of 170 students of Villa Serrano and for this we developed a questionnaire type survey questions to collect information from the villagers. It was determined that the level of knowledge among students in the career of Public Management in the municipality of Villa Serrano is ordinary or common as you get answers that are not based on a scientific basis about the subject matter. Most of the students surveyed did not respond on the source of information about HIV AIOS, but there is a significant amount that specifies that the source of information received about HIV AIOS is through the college or university (24.8%) which shows that it is of tertiary source. In reference to the transmission routes 49.15% believe that one of the routes of transmission of HIV-AIDS are through sexual intercourse mention the 27.97% through blood transfusion, while 13 , 56% indicated that by breasffeeding, while 1.69% through mosquito bites.
