    The present research was conducted in the municipality of Yamparáez (Sajpaya community) of the Department of Chuquisaca. In this paper we analyze the frequency in the practice of the methods of prevention and information receiving HIV-AIDS in the sexually active population of 18-52 years in the community sajpaya Yamparáez Township, the departaobservacional, cross-quantitative approach . The universe identified by male and female residents of the community of Sajpaya, was a total of 162, taking a sample of 119 individuáis. For this purpose we developed a questionnaire type survey questions to collect information from respondents. Determinadose that very often there is condom use, since there are factors such as non-receipt of information both men and women, condom use is practiced more in young adults, more prevention methods used in the Community Sajpaya first monogamy is thus being higher among women showing greater fidelity second is the use of condoms and abstinence third adult population where more practice, women having no information about HIV disease and AIDS do not know of its modes of transmission, therefore men have greater reception and constantly flocking to the city leaving the women in charge of the home, married women have a lower risk of contracting the disease, what does not happen with single or cohabiting men, not having a stable relationship and have some casual.
