Candidiasis represents approximately 52.01% of gynecological diseases detectedin women of childbearing age, who were assistedin the health centerin the municipalityofSan Miguel Villa Serrano. The aim ofthis study was to determine the prevalence of Candida albican sinrelationto educational levelin patients who were treated at the Gynecology clinichealth centerin the municipality of San Miguel Villa Serrano Chuquisaca department. One hundred female patients were taken as partof the study, with data from gynecological medical records, confirmed and subject to revision provided by the medical staf of the Health Centeral ready mentioned. The hundred patients evaluated vaginal fluids, in55of them showed the causative agent; Candidaalbicansrepresented52.01% of the cases. We found three cases of Gardnerella Vaginallis(1.82%). The level of instruction was considered predisposing and precipitating factorin Candida albican sinfection, and this infection was found predominantlyil literate women inspiteof the information provided and appropriate especific treatment.
