    This research was conducted at the Center of the Municipality of Presto village, province of Chuquisaca Department Zudáñez. This paper analyzes the social participation of the inhabitants of the municipality in decision making, effective and organized self-involvement of the community in the process of Shared Health Management, including planning, implementation management, monitoring and social control of health actions for decision making from within and outside health facilities. This work was done in the first quarter of 2012 management. Its preparation was performed a descriptive study with quantitative approach. The study sample is of 2438 inhabitants whose sample consisted of 333 inhabitants between men and women from the town aged between 15 and 60 years of age, for it was developed a survey type questionnaire with 24 questions to collect information ofresidents between 15 and 60 years old from the town of Presto as to the decisions that they have in community meetings. It was observed that most of them attend at least once a month at their community meetings, there was also social participation versus decision, concluding that most people are not taken into account in the planning, implementation of activities undertaken in the health sector, much less to perform the relevant monitoring and evaluation.
