    Resumo

    This document covers five points, is intended to describe the emergence of a mayor initiative inherent to environmental laws as the defense of Mother Earth from the conception of indigenous people natives of Latin America as a new dimension legal, in the introductory part a brief overview of some background that guided the development of environmental legislation and as resulted of this in environmental legal pluralism. The second item highlights the proclamation of the defense of Mother Earth in the People's Conference for Change Climatic and the Rights of Mother Earth, which was a milestone to elevate this initiative. The third point contextualized from the perspective of indigenous peoples in the case of Bolivia, the arguments to consider Mother Earth as a subject of law in order to justify the establishment of their formal rights. In the four items is a brief reference regarding the scope of recognition of the rights of Mother Earth in the Legal Pluralism and the Plural Economy as a new stage of the duality between legal systems. Finally in the fifth point is exemplified by underline an synthetically object, principles, content and scope of the "framework" law of Mother Earth an integral development for "Living Well", current legal standard of the Plurinational State of Bolivia, according to the environmental legislative progress made to date. It is considered that this modest point of view, put into relevance a vision for the defense and protection of Mother Earth an her rights, the initiative finally took shape in a "framework" law to an improvement of environmental law in Bolivia, from another perspective, at least in this part of Latin America
