Abstract
FLORES ORTUNO, ROBERTO et al. Sistema de enfriamiento de ambiente para ganado lechero1. Univ. Cienc. Soc. [online]. 2014, n.13, pp. 36-38. ISSN 8888-8888.
Heat stress is considered as an important factor in reducing milk production in dairy cattle in order to reduce the ambient temperature in the room pre milking. Thus, the production yields of dairy cattle could increase. An irrigation system was designed by nebulization to install pre milking environment, using materials commonly used in irrigation as a water pump 1 HP, hoses, elbows T, blue valves of 16 mm polytube and special micronebulizers. The results obtained were: reduction of heat stress, micro-nebulization slowly cools the air without wetting the animal, the consumption of water and energy is reduced, low costs maintenance and increasing of milk production.
