Abstract
CALISAYA QUISBERT, JORGE ORLANDO and AGUIRRE ROJAS, RICHARD JOHNNY. Uso de tres niveles de stevia rebaudiana en el alimento balanceado de pollos parrilleros. Univ. Cienc. Soc. [online]. 2013, n.11, pp. 23-30. ISSN 8888-8888.
It is evaluated the effect of different levels of Stevia in the balanced food, compared to conventional food determining and quantifying consumption variables, body weight gain , feed conversion and mortality rates. It is set by comparing, the differences in feed costs using the Stevia treated food over the commercial food based on the flour type used in the experiment. There were used 600 newborn chicks from line Cobb, which were divided into four groups of 150 specimens, each one with a specific treatment. The results show statistical differences from 36 days fattening. The economic analysis indicates that treatment with 1 % stevia was presented the highest marginal rate of return, keeping superiority over treatment 2 (0.5% stevia), Treatment 4 (1.5% stevia) and the control, respectively
