The abnormalities of the gait in children with fíat foot were studied, including children from 6 to 8 years from the school districts 4 and 11 of Santa Cruz de la Sierra, to who once identified gait abnormalities, are offered the options of treatment and rehabilitation. The study raises a proper biomechanical analysis of gait and the variations that exist to identify biomechanical abnormalities that can be addressed through various therapeutic options, from simple exercise treatement, to the need of physical therapy approach, the use of orthoses or as latter, various surgical procedures.
