Parasites are looked for on samples of Celery (Apium graveolens) which were acquired in different markets in the city during the months of July to October 2011. The presence and identification of parasites considered pathogenic to hu-mans was found through direct and fresh analysis of the samples in the laboratories of the university. The samples were washed with antiseptic treatments until the elimination of the parasites was achieved.
