This work has been exhibited in the framework of the 2010 Science Fair UCEBOL. We reviewthe literature on the subject, with emphasis on the classification of placenta previa, the different clinical characteristics that identify each type of placenta previa. We analyze the overall morbidity and mortality, etiology, pathology, risk factors, differential diagnosis and treatment
