Abstract

We performed a comparative study of the antiparasitic action of garlic and albendazole in a sample of schoolchildren, in a school in the town of Portachuelo, Santa Cruz Department, in August and November2010. Serial samples are collected faeces from each school and sentto laboratories UCEBOL, which are analyzed by the method of Ritchie or formalin-ether centrifugation and direct Stool. The students with positive results of intestinal parásitosis were randomly treated with garlic and albendazole, obtaining similar results antiparasitic action.
