Abstract The new flowchart of thermal refining of tin is created based on a concept of cleaner production, reducing solid waste and by-products which are difficult to treat, saving in the use of reagents, improving the efficiency of the refining process and incorporating the process of electro refining of lead and bismuth in the presence of antimony, which is the central process in the new flowchart. This will allow the elimination of the antimony from the circuit of tin in the form of a valued by-product.
