HACIENDA "CAÑAMINA", PIONEER OF THE NATIONAL INDUSTRY (1645-1960)

La investigación versa sobre la historia de la hacienda Cañamina, ubicada en los yungas de Inquisivi a 352 km al sudeste de La Paz, productora de azúcar, tabaco, arroz, alcohol y coca que llegó a procesos agroindustriales a lo largo del siglo XIX y XX. Cañamina fue pionera de la agroindustria nacional ligada tempranamente con los circuitos mercantiles, la inversión de capitales nacionales y extranjeros; con tecnología, equipos, maquinaria y procesos técnicos de transformación de materia prima propia de una agricultura capitalista temprana en Bolivia, con la rémora de relaciones laborales de servidumbre dominantes que no permitieron su cambio definitivo aun hasta la Ley de Reforma Agraria de 1953, que la afectó en 1958.

The research deals with the history of finance Cañamina, located in the yungas of Inquisivi 352 km southeast of peace, sugar, tobacco, rice, alcohol and coca producer arrived in agro-industrial processes throughout the 19th and 20th century. THE BENI'S LINEAGE OF GERMÁN BUSCH

Después de un largo silencio que las instituciones benianas mantuvieron sobre la identidad del más emblemático de los héroes bolivianos, a excepción de la voz solitaria del Prof. Rógers Becerra, en abril de este año la Sociedad de Estudios Geográficos e Históricos del Beni planteó a su similar de Santa Cruz un debate fraterno en torno al tema. Ante la falta de respuesta, los benianos decidieron lanzar a la opinión nacional e internacional los antecedentes reales que inciden en la estirpe beniana de Busch. Entre los datos inéditos, sin ser los únicos nuevos que se muestran, están los testimonios de los descendientes (entre 70 y 80 años de edad) del señor Luis Suárez Suárez, Padrino de Agua de Germán Busch, hecho efectuado a pocos pasos de El Carmen del Iténez, en marzo de 1903, transformando una larga tradición oral en documento público, amparado por el Notario de Hacienda del Gobierno Autónomo Departamental, fechados en Trinidad el martes 25 de enero del 2011.

A través de una revisión del cuerpo jurídico que fundamenta los derechos de autor en Bolivia, se esbozan criterios que son desarrollados con un hilván teórico que se desprende de los apartados considerados en la propia estructura legislativa, tanto de su fundamentación como de la validez e implementación. Rescatando un escenario que está impreso de posibilidades comunicacionales y mediáticas con el emplazamiento que permite la red de internet, se hace referencia de fenómenos como la creación colectiva, el uso de licencias libres o la piratería, para sostener una conclusión final de reflexión hacia una propuesta de compartir la cultura, sin restringirse del marco jurídico de los derechos de autor.

REPORT OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE ASSOCIATION OF LIBRARIANS OF ORURO (OCTOBER 2008-APRIL 2011)

Informe de la gestión de la presidencia de la Asociación de Bibliotecarios de Oruro, desde octubre 2008 hasta abril de 2011, a la asamblea general bianual de socios, en la que expone las actividades desarrolladas y los logros alcanzados. La Asociación de Bibliotecarios de Oruro es la más antigua de Bolivia, y se caracteriza por la organización de actividades formativas y de extensión cultural en beneficio de los bibliotecarios de la ciudad de Oruro. Su presidente, participa en los congresos internacionales que organiza el Colegio de Profesionales de Ciencias de la Información de Bolivia y los nacionales que organiza ese colectivo con asociaciones y organizaciones de los distintos departamentos de Bolivia.

The management report of the Presidency of the Association of librarians of Oruro, from October 2008 until April 2011, at the biennial general Assembly of partners, which exposes the activities and achievements. The Association of librarians of Oruro is the most ancient of Bolivia, and is characterized by the Organization of training activities and cultural extension for the benefit of the library of the city of Oruro. Its President, takes part in international conferences organized by the College of practitioners of information sciences of the national and Bolivia which organizes this group with associations and organizations of various departments of Bolivia.

MAYA OSCAR CORZO: PARADIGM OF SOCIAL COMMITMENT IN LIBRARIANSHIP

Semblanza de Oscar Maya Corzo, quien boga por el carácter imprescindible del rol social del bibliotecario, línea de pensamiento que se ha fortalecido por los aportes críticos realizados en listas de opinión bibliotecológicas, donde advierte de la relación existente entre las carencias sociales y el uso y acceso de la información. Asimismo alerta sobre la ausencia de programas educativos que provean herramientas al alumno para poder ofrecer servicios bibliotecarios en contextos de diversidad cultural. Se tratan de reflexiones que atraviesan diferentes planos, cuyo centro de interés es la defensa del patrimonio documental y la consecuente revitalización del quehacer bibliotecológico.
